I really like how you bring Telemachus out of myth and into a restless, contemporary adolescence. The absent father remains a presence, almost projected onto that blank screen, while the boy searches for an escape he cannot yet name. And the ending works beautifully: the eagle is not simply freedom, but the moment he stops waiting and finally begins to move away on wings of his own.
